Willowbrook TimesA small-town weekly, by the creek

The Library Stays Open Late

Two extra evenings a week, paid for by a bake sale that got out of hand. Starting next month the Willowbrook branch library will stay open until eight on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The two extra hours are paid for, at least through spring, by the Friends of the Library bake sale, which raised more in one Saturday than it had in the previous three years combined.

About Willowbrook Times

The Willowbrook Times is a weekly about one small town and the creek that runs through it. We cover the meetings nobody wants to sit through, the school calendar, the creek when it rises, and the letters readers send when something on their street deserves to be written down.
